For those who are graduating by the end of Nov 2008 or who held bridging visa A and/or subclass 485 visa can now apply for Professional Year courses in Accounting or IT in order to gain extra 10 points.

The next intake is 23rd February 2009, 30th March 2009, 4th May 2009, 8th June 2009, 17th August 2009 and 21st September 2009.

The Professional Year course only run for 44 weeks, 2 days per week, student can choose morning class 8:30 am- 12:30 pm OR evening class 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

In order to qualify for Professional Year course, the applicant must be the holder of bridging visa A or subclass 485 and must have an overall score of 6 in IELTS.

Upon the completion of Professional Year, the applicant will be automatically awarded 10 points under the skilled-independent or skilled - sponsored category.

During the Professional Year course, the applicant also enjoy the internship program for 12 weeks to experience the real life of professional employment.

For those who are not able to acquire 120 points for skilled independent migration because of their IELTS score or age can do Professional Year course in the field of Accounting or Information Technology to get extra 10 points.
